PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device provided with a configuration of appropriating a luminous quantity balance between a light reflected in an auxiliary reflection mirror and a direct light from a light source so as to eliminate shade in the case of using the auxiliary reflection mirror. SOLUTION: In the lighting device provided with the light source 2 for illuminating an object of illumination O and a reflection member 4 located at a position opposed to the light source 2 and directing part of illumination light from the light source 2 to the object of illumination O, a light-blocking member 9 (9') is placed between the light source 2 and the object of illumination O (between the reflection member 4 and the object of illumination O), and the light-blocking members 9, 9' are characterized in to block the illumination light from the light source 2 and the illumination light from the reflection member 4 at a prescribed ratio.
