摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dose calculation method that can solve an error attributed to variations in equipment characteristics or the like among radiation irradiators and can accurately calculate a dose distribution. SOLUTION: In a radiation therapy instrument, a treated site is irradiated with an X ray produced by the collision of an electron beam 1 with a target 2 through a flattening filter 4, upper and lower restrictors 5 and 6 and a multileaf collimator 7. The calculation of a dose is performed by using a Monte Carlo method on the basis of condition-specific data obtained by dividing parameter information concerning the position, energy and the direction of progress of radiation into a variety of condition by condition data. Weighted parameter of each condition-specific data is corrected on the basis of calibration data measured for each radiation therapy instrument, errors attributed to variations in equipment characteristics or the like among radiation treatment instruments are eliminated and a dose distribution is accurately calculated.
