<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material recycling system for rock wool which efficiently treats a rock wool-containing waste having the difficulty of recycling among construction waste and recycles the same as water treatment material. <P>SOLUTION: The material recycling system comprises a means of recovering rock wool-containing waste, a means of crushing or separating the rock wool-containing waste and turning the same to the water treatment material consisting of cemented material and rock wool and a means of using the water treatment material as culvert filter material, trap material for removing heavy metal in waste water, trap material for removing phosphoric acid or acid neutralizer. It is preferable that the rock wool-containing waste is a waste cotton produced on the application of spraying rock wool and/or recovered rock wool produced on the demolition of the spraying rock wool.
