PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for acquiring data logging with a minimum circuit scale by eliminating the necessity of setting time for a device to be supervised which cannot have an added data logging function because accurate time data is not available in the absence of a time setting function. SOLUTION: The device 10 to be supervised does not have an input part and a display part for setting time, but if receiving a data logging command from a PC 20 via a communication port 13, downloads logging data into the PC 20, starting from the logging data with the oldest time stamp recorded in a ring buffer 16. The PC 20, after executing the data logging command, reads the logging data of the device 10 via the communication port 23, uses the logging function 24 of the PC 20 to calculate the differenceΔT between the time t of the device 10 and the current time T of the PC 20, and corrects the time stamp of the logging data.
