PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance by eliminating accumulation of air around a display body to make the outline of the embossed display body clear, and to reduce the cost. SOLUTION: In a decoration plate A wherein a display body 3 is provided projectingly on the surface of a base material 1, a skin material 5 is made to adhere to the surface of the base material 1 by vacuum suction to cover the display body 3, and an embossed display part 4 corresponding to the shape of the display body 3 is formed on the surface, small vacuum suction holes 7 are bored through the base material 1 at the points surrounded by the display body 3 in the top view, and when vacuum-molding, the skin material 5 is made to adhere to the surface of the base material 1 by making vacuum the space between the skin material 5 and the base material 1 by sucking via the vacuum suction holes 7.
