PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a universal joint and to improve durability of its boots in a universal joint boots by appropriately controlling airflow between the inside of the boots and the outside of the boots based on pressure fluctuation for preventing penetration of muddy water such as splashed water into the boots. SOLUTION: The universal joint boots 10 fitted onto a propeller shaft inner axis 3 has an opposite end thereof fitted onto an outer lace 4a so as to substantially cover the universal joint 4. One end fitting section 1a and an annular lip section 1b respectively have passages 1c, 1e and the like for air circulation, the passages 1c and the like communicate with each other through the annular section passage 1d between the both passages. The existence of the annular section passage 1d raises the circulation resistance of the air between the inside of the boots and the outside of the boots, and thereby lessening pressure fluctuation of the inside of the boots and improving the efficiency to prevent the penetration of muddy water such as splashed water into the boots accompanying air intake.
