PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower bathing device which has an opening for nursing in a box body for bathing to let bathing attendants wash bathing persons and enables the smooth opening or closing of horizontally sliding curtains provided for the opening for nursing along with the sufficient closure with the curtains. SOLUTION: Vertical cylinder parts 25 are sewn on left and right curtains 23 and 24 at a plurality of points containing the opening end sides thereof, rubber strings 26 are passed through the respective cylinder parts 25 and the upper and lower ends 26a and 26b of the rubber strings are taken inside and outside the curtains 23 and 24, respectively, through button holes 25a and 25b provided near the upper and lower ends of the curtains. The outer end parts 26a and 26b of the rubber strings are bound on upper and lower rail engaging members 27, respectively, and the upper and lower rail engaging members 27 are mounted on the upper and lower curtain rails 21 and 22 along the upper and lower end rims of the opening for nursing use 20 within the box body 10 for bathing with the rubber strings 26 tensed properly. Thus, the left and right curtains are mounted on the rails to be installed on the opening for nursing use in a horizontally slidable manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
