PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine case which protects a surface of a metal material forming the case and can recycle the case made of the metal as well as facilitating fractional recovery of the metal material, and to provide a method for recycling the case. SOLUTION: In the case 1 for housing the game machine, the case 1 is formed with a combination of metal plate-like members and configured by providing detachably, on outer surfaces of the metal plate-like members 11, 31, 41 forming at least one plane of the case 1, protection panels 12, 13, 14 made of a synthetic resin or protection films for covering the outer surfaces.
