<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone which prolongs the operating time and improves the handling convenience. <P>SOLUTION: When the telephone receives information receivable from a radio network #2 or goes out of the range of a radio network #1 with a CPU (#1) 1 waiting on the radio network #1, a CPU (#1) 14 informs a CPU (#3) 3 thereof. Upon receipt of the information from the CPU (#1) 14, the CPU (#3) 3 checks a vibration sensor 4. If a vibration is detected or its quantity is large, it stops the CPU (#1) 14 and starts switching to a CPU (#2) 24. If no vibration is detected or the vibration quantity is small, the CPU (#3) 3 waits for a fixed time and counts up an internal counter, but, if the internal counter's count is less than a specified value, returns to a waiting state on the radio network #1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
