PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously prevent a pile of the soil by eliminating dust and picking the sand at the same time. SOLUTION: In a dust eliminator with the structure that an endless chain 6 to be moved around is provided in both sides of a screen 3, which is interposed in a flow passage 1, on the upstream side thereof and rakes 26f and 28 supported by the chains 6 provided in both sides rake up the dust 11 caught by the screen 3, and while scrape it downward onto a trough 8 provided over the screen 3, a bucket 26 for picking the soil piled in a bottom part between the chains 6 to shake it down onto the trough 8 is supported by the chains 6 provided in both sides, and with the movement of the chains 6 around, this bucket 26 picks up the soil 10 piled in the bottom part between the chains 6 to shake the soil down onto the trough 8, and at the same time, the rakes 26f and 28 rake the dust 11 up to rake the dust down onto the trough 8.
