<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a whole signal light emit light by having light emitted from a bulb reflected at an inside face of a lens and a reflecting part in turn through installation of a staircase-shape non-effective reflecting part on a reflector. <P>SOLUTION: The reflector 91 is structured of an effective reflecting part 94 based on a paraboloid, and a staircase-shape non-effective reflecting part 95 integrally formed with the effective reflecting part 94 and not based on a paraboloid. Light emitted from the bulb 64, since it is placed in front of the staircase-shape non-effective reflecting part 95, can be reflected so as to directly reach the non-effective reflecting part 95 and reflected in turn by an inner face 82A of the lens 82 and the non-effective reflecting part 95. With this structure, light emitted from the bulb can also be reflected by the non-effective reflecting part, and that, a whole winker can be illuminated, so that there won't be any large difference in impressions given at lighting-on and-off of the winker, which enhances a merchandise property of the winker. Since the staircase-shape non-effective reflecting part reflects light to various directions, part of the winker can be made to emit light like an illumination to give a novel impression, a merchandise property of the signal light for the vehicle can further be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
