PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation automatic guiding device capable of automatically recognizing temporally changing ambient conditions of transportation such as an automobile, and automatically guiding a travel path such as a road. SOLUTION: In the transportation automatic guiding device 1, image data, sound data or the like regarding the ambient conditions of the running transportation acquired from an input device 2 is compared with image data prestored in a database by a comparing device 4. When the image data, sound data or the like matches as a result of comparison, contents of the data are recognized by a recognition device 5, and a recognized result is notified to an operator or the like by an output device 6 by characters, image, sound or the like.
