PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus which can display characters or pictures suitable for a large-scale outdoor display or an interior material. SOLUTION: The display apparatus is equipped with a display part 11 in which a plurality of the following display elements 20 are arranged in a matrix on a base 32, a driving circuit 12 connected to each display element 20 in the display part 11 through the matrix lines 13 to apply voltage, a control board 14 to send a control signal to the driving circuit 12 to control the voltage application on the display element 20 to display, and a power supply circuit 15 to supply the electric power to the driving circuit 12.
