PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package comprising an object to be packaged wrapped with a gas impermeable wrapper, a method and an apparatus for forming the package, and a pin hole detection method for the package, with which a pin hole of the package can be easily and surely changed. SOLUTION: A cross hair 12 (first reference mark) is formed on the surface of a container 10, a packaging bag 14 with one of edges of a container or the like opened and filled with a chemical liquid is inserted into the container 10, and the opening edge is heated after evacuation to form a seal 26. A slightly larger cross hair 28 with a different color is formed on the surface of the container 10 where the cross hair 12 is formed. If there is no pin hole, the cross hair 12 on the surface of the container 10 is covered with the cross hair 28 on the packaging bag 14. If a pin hole occurs, the position of the container 10 shifts to make the cross hair 12 on the surface of the container visible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
