PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus housing device which can be laterally or vertically placed and can reduce a heat storage. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus housing device contains an upper side and a lower side on the side of a cabinet 1 having a plurality of heat radiating holes, to form an upper side dent 2a and a lower side dent 2b dented inwardly from each side surface. Further, a U-shaped leg 3 which can pinch the lower side dent 2b and is detachable is provided. A groove 6 and a window 7 as an air flow inlet are formed on the base of the leg 3. In the case of vertical placement, the lower side dent 2b is pinched by the leg 3. Air flows into the cabinet from the groove 6, the window 7 and the heat radiating holes on the base of the cabinet, and escapes from the upper heat radiating hole 1c. In the case of lateral placement, the leg 3 is detached and placed on a desk with one side directed downward. Air flows in from the heat radiating hole 1a in the upper side dent 2a and the lower side dent 2b, the heat radiating hole 1c on an upper plane located horizontally, and the heat radiating holes on the base, and escapes to the heat radiating holes on the other side, to decrease the heat storage as well.
