PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a use of high-intensity alloy that has a high-selection degree of freedom and a necessity for thinning a base metal, and to realize multiple and simultaneous connections of heat-transfer plates using a connection method without using a brazing filler metal or plastic. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger manufacturing method is to coat at least one face of a base metal 26 with an unhardened solid film (resin material) 42 composed of a thermoset adhesive in the condition of B and to confect an adhesive-coated metallic material (precoated material) 46. Then, the precoated material 46 is pressed and the heat-transfer plate is confected. After the heat-transfer plate 20A is temporarily assembled, the unhardened solid film 42 is heated, hardened, assembled, and connected to produce a product (heat exchanger) 22A.
