PURPOSE: A device for pumping a solid laser is provided to improve the transmittance for transmitting the excite beam emitted from the injection lens to the solid laser medium. CONSTITUTION: A device for pumping a solid laser includes a semiconductor laser diode(1), an injection lens(2), a diffused reflection material, a transmittance material(5) and a solid laser medium(4). The semiconductor laser diode(1) injects the pumping beam into the solid laser medium(4). The injection lens(2) is formed in such a way that it becomes to narrow from the side to absorb the pumping beam to the side to discharge the pumping beam. The diffused reflection material is formed in the shape of slit so as to insert thereinto the discharge side of the diffused reflection material. The transmittance material(5) is filled into the inside diffused reflection material. And, the solid laser medium(4) is placed at the center of the diffused reflection material for oscillating the atoms thereof by absorbing the pumping beam emitted from the injection lens(2).
