METHOD FOR POWER SAVING OPERATION OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A method for power saving operation of an air conditioner is provided to reduce power consumption by controlling temperature of chilled air discharged from the air conditioner into a room using an RPM control algorithm variably controlling RPM of an outdoor fan for power saving of the air conditioner to execute indoor dehumidification and keep constant indoor temperature. CONSTITUTION: An RPM control algorithm is used to control temperature of chilled air discharged into a room for indoor dehumidification and keeping constant temperature. The RPM control algorithm variably controls RPM of an outdoor fan of an outdoor heat exchanging part for dehumidification mode and constant temperature mode, and comprises the steps of: an outdoor fan high speed rotation step rotating the outdoor fan at high speed to discharge chilled air at dehumidifying temperature due to dropping of condensing pressure for dehumidification; and a step rotating the outdoor fan at low speed to increase temperature of the chilled air to constant-temperature due to increase of condensing pressure so as to rise the dropped indoor temperature to the constant temperature.
