PURPOSE: A door for a drum washing machine is provided to prevent the door from being broken against impact of attachments on the laundry by reinforcing the door with mounting the sheet, to extend the life span of a hinge by reducing the weight of the door, and to cut down manufacturing cost by making the door of plastic. CONSTITUTION: A drum washing machine is composed of an outer tub and an inner tub in a body(1), a door(10) made of transparent plastic material and formed in the front of the body, and a sheet(20) mounted inside the door to increase the hardness of the door. The sheet is made of Teflon to prevent scratch with high corrosion resistance and high abrasion resistance and to restrict the laundry from being damaged with reducing friction coefficient, and integrally formed with the door by molding to prevent the sheet from being peeled off against impact from the laundry during washing. The plastic door prevents breakage by absorbing shock with keeping elastic force. |
