A token with built-in IC chip (30), which is very entertaining, is provided for a gaming machine (10). The token is provided with an IC chip incorporated therein, in which a game initial data set selected from a data group comprising a plurality of game initial data sets has been stored before starting a game in a storage section of the token with built-in IC chip.
