NOVEL BACILLUS SUBTILIS BRD-F4B STRAIN HAVING FOOD WASTE DECOMPOSABILITY AND MICROBIAL AGENT FOR FOOD WASTE TREATMENT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are novel Bacillus subtilis BRD-F4B having food waste decomposability as well as enzyme activities of xylanase and amylase and a microbial preparation for food waste treatment using the same. CONSTITUTION: A novel strain, Bacillus subtilis BRD-F4B(KCTC 1029BP), is characterized by having xylanase and amylase activities, as well as food waste decomposability. A microbial preparation for food waste treatment is characterized by containing the Bacillus subtilis BRD-F4B(KCTC 1029BP), wherein the strain is absorbed into a substrate selected from defatted rice bran, CellCaSi, activated carbon, diatomite and white carbon.
