PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that can express new functionality for an object as a property that is not built into the class from which the object derives. SOLUTION: A computer-readable medium including an object with a property in a first set of properties includes a data structure including definitions for each of a second set of properties, and at least one static method. The static method is associated with one property in the second set of properties and includes a first parameter. The first parameter uniquely identifies the one property.
