<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device for recognizing a user, who is the origination of a request for recording the fact that a receiving party has seen the recorded image, in addition to a state of record processing in an Internet printing. <P>SOLUTION: An image data created by a PC 2a is transmitted to a recording device 3 via the Internet 1, and an image, in response to the image data, is printed and recorded by the recording device 3. When receiving an instruction for recording result notification from the PC 2a, the recording device 3 transmits information on the record processing via the Internet 1, at the time that the receiving party has viewed the recorded image is input. When receiving instruction for recording the result notification rom the PC 2a, the recording device 3 transmits information on the record processing via the Internet, when the receiving party inputs to the affect that it has seen the recorded image.
