<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe connection port for infusion, capable of securely preventing leakage of a medicinal solution in infusing the medicinal solution when the quantity of projection of the opening of a twist-lock type syringe is irregular, and reducing the dead space in infusing the medicinal solution. <P>SOLUTION: The syringe connection port 10 consists of a seal valve element 11, a sleeve part 34 into which the opening of the twist-lock syringe can be inserted, and a seal member 13 mounted on the sleeve part 34. The seal member 13 is a rubber member of substantially cylindrical shape, and a disk-shaped flange part 37 is attached to the upper end. The flange part 37 is closely attached to the top of the opening 602 of the twist-lock type syringe 600 liquid-tightly when the opening 602 of the twist-lock type syringe 600 is inserted even if the quantity of insertion of the opening is irregular. Further, as the inner surface of the seal member 13 is a channel 38 for the medicinal solution, the dead space of the channel for the medicinal solution when the medicinal solution is infused is small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
