PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube which suppresses a mistake convergence to occur by the influence of an eddy current magnetic field generated in a shield cup electrode of the color cathode-ray tube and which enables manufacturing cost reduction in trial manufacture and shortening of the manufacturing period. SOLUTION: Among three electron beam passing holes 59 formed in the shield cup electrode 1 arranged between an electron gun and deflecting yokes of the color cathode-ray tube, folded bodies 2, 3 respectively having screens 2c, 3c are individually arranged at a pair of the passing holes 59 of both ends, and the strength of the eddy current magnetic field generated by changing height of the screens 2c, 3c is adjusted.
