PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling member for stably covering a surface of a fitting part with high adhesive force by a poly-phenylene sulfide resin layer, reducing the slide resistance and demonstrating a muffling effect, in particular, in applications at high temperature by taking advantage of the high heat resistance of the poly-phenylene sulfide resin. SOLUTION: A surface of a fitting part 11 to other member of a metal coupling member 1 for power transmission having the fitting part to other member is subjected to phosphate treatment to form a phosphate film 2, and covered by a poly-phenylene sulfide resin layer 3.
