PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective shield with the structure capable of visually confirming the movement of an opposite from a user and hard to visually confirm the movement of the user from the opponent. SOLUTION: This protective shield is provided with a shield plate main body 11 made of a synthetic resin and a grip part 12 fitted to the inside surface of the shield plate main body 11 for fixation. A user holds the grip part 12 with a hand, and sets the shield plate main body 11 in front to protect the body from an attack such as a stick by a knife, a hit by a blunt instrument and a thrown stone to be applied from the outside surface of the shield plate main body 11. A half mirror film 13 is attached to the outside surface of the shield plate main body 11. The half mirror film 13 has a function to permeate 8 to 45 % of the visual rays of light incident from an outside surface side of the shield plate main body 11 and to reflect all of others, and the user can visually confirm the movement of the opponent and it is hard for the opponent to visually confirm the movement of the user.
