摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide niobium powder for producing a capacitor of high capacity which increases the thermal stability of an oxide film in a niobium capacitor, and has a reduced leakage current and reduced deterioration in the leakage current after application of thermal load. SOLUTION: The niobium powder comprises, by mass, 0.002 to 20% molybdenum, at least one metal selected from 0.002 to 10% chromium and 0.002 to 20% tungsten, and 0.005 to 0.10% hydrogen. The specific surface area of the powder is 1 to 10 m<SP>2</SP>/g. Preferably, the powder further comprises 0.002 to 1% magnesium and/or 0.002 to 1% aluminum, and the mean particle diameter of the secondary particles is 10 to 200μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
