PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting means for a balance equipped with a cantilever factor supporting a calibrator and/or a scale pan, in order to connect a scale cell with the cantilever and/or the scale pan. SOLUTION: The balance 1 is provided with the scale cell 2 containing a vertically-movable load bearing section, the scale pan 14 receiving the measured load, and a supporting element 20 for connecting the scale pan with the load bearing section movable in a direction perpendicular to the scale cell. A cantilever arm, having a seat 7 for at least one calibration weight 8 of the calibrator to be mounted, is firmly connected to the supporting element. The balance also have the connecting means fixing the supporting element to the three points forming a triangle in a plane orthogonalizing a symmetry plane of the scale cell while holding low-frictional mobility, where the triangle is planar symmetrical to the symmetry plane of the scale cell. In the connecting means, the supporting element is surely maintained on the load bearing section in the direction to which the measured load is applied. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
