PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open-and-close type gate of a dumptruck, which is convenient enough to be used for any burdens without performing removal or fitting work, can be manufactured at low cost, and is easy to assemble and economical because it is composed of a small number of components. SOLUTION: The open-and-close type gate is provided on a bed 2 of the dumptruck, and comprises a gate frame 3 and a rear door 5. The gate frame 3 is fitted on a left sideboard 2B and a right sideboard 2C on the bed 2 in such a way that the gate frame 3 is opened and closed freely on supporting points at the upper rear ends of both sideboards. The rear door 5 is fitted on the gate frame 3 in such a way that the rear door 5 is laid down and stood up freely on a supporting point at the lower end of the gate frame 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
