PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a rotary marker at the tip end of a marker arm projecting in a side direction of a machine body, so as not to make a contact with the traveling machine body or a seedling-loading stand even on moving the marker arm upward for taking a housed posture, although it can form a traveling standard index on a mud surface, and so as to make the whole of a transplanter compact. SOLUTION: A ridge marker is provided by installing the marker arm 22 projecting in the side direction and rotating in up and down direction between the traveling machine body 1 and seedling-loading stand 13 and the rotary marker 23 at the tip of the marker arm 22. When the marker arm 22 moves downward, the rotary marker 23 projecting in side direction and taking the acting posture touches to and rotates on the mud surface to form the traveling standard index, and when the marker arm 22 moves upward, the rotary marker 23 taking the housed posture and positioning between the traveling machine body 1 and the seedling-loading stand 13 is made as foldable in the front to rear direction against the marker arm 22.
