PURPOSE: A bread baking machine is provided to improve the quality of bread by controlling a humidity in the bread baking machine having a simple structure of generating steam. CONSTITUTION: The bread baking machine comprises a case(111) forming an appearance and having a door connected with one side, the door being opened and closed; a bread baking tray(115) for receiving materials for baking the bread, the bread baking tray being positioned in the case(111); an upper heater(116) for heating the bread baking tray(115), the upper heater being positioned in the case(111) to be spaced from an upper opening aperture of the bread baking tray(115); a lower heater(117) for heating the bread baking tray(115), the lower heater being positioned in the case(111) to face toward a side wall of the bread baking tray(115); and a water container(121) for containing water and generating a steam by a heating of the lower heater(117), the water container being positioned in the case(111) to be adjacent to the lower heater(117), wherein a height of the upper opening aperture in the water container(121) is higher or same as that of the opening aperture of the bread baking tray(115).
