Protective device against the effects of explosives

A device for protecting the bottom part of human lower limbs, in particular the foot, against the propagation of the blast wave and the heat generated by the detonation of an explosive device such as a landmine. The device comprise an ankle boot whose sole has a dihedral under surface (1) with the summit formed by its two faces pointing downwards, surrounded by a series of supporting blocks (5) which provide stability and allow the wearer to proceed with a natural gait. The blocks are located under the anatomical supports of the foot - the big toe, the instep and heel. The sole is made from a non-rigid material with a Shore hardness of 40 - 80, with the supporting blocks made so that they do not form projectiles if they are shattered by an explosion.
