PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a receipt in a language comprehensible for a client who can not understand Japanese.

SOLUTION: An article code input part 50 acquires an article code inputted from a bar code scanner 14 or a keyboard 12. A language selecting part 58 makes the client select a language for receipt printing on a display with a touch panel. With respect to the inputted article code, an article information acquisition part 60 acquires an article name in the language selected in the language selecting part 58 by the client and its price, and an account processing part 52 performs account processing based upon the article name and the price. When account processing is completed, a print data creating part 54 creates receipt printing data by using the article name in the language for receipt printing and outputs the data to a printer 19.
