<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hyaluronic acid synthesis promoter which is a substance promoting the production of hyaluronic acid high in safety and free from side effects, even when continuously taken, and is used for preventing or treating skin diseases accompanied by ageing, such as skin freckles, wrinkles, skin roughness, or sagging, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, keratodermas, rheumatics, purulent and uratic arthritis, and burns, and to provide an external preparation for skin, a drink, a food, a medicine, and a feed, which contain the hyaluronic acid synthesis promoter. <P>SOLUTION: This hyaluronic acid synthesis promoter is characterized by including cryptoxanthin and/or a derivative thereof, wherein the cryptoxanthin and/or a derivative thereof are preferably originated from citrus fruits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
