<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcoat material having excellent wear resistance, thermo-transcription ability, emboss processability, surface luster/gloss and coating ability to a card surface, which exerts no bad influence on a human body, requires no suction equipment for preventing flash ignition and can form an overcoat layer capable of sticking strongly a print, a portrait, a sign panel and a hologram, and also to provide a card using the material. <P>SOLUTION: The overcoat material for forming an overcoat layer on a surface of a card comprises an aqueous emulsion type coating, particularly, one comprising a UV-curable urethane acrylate as the main ingredient, and further, an aqueous thermoplastic urethane resin as the essential ingredient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
