PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of heating start operation and output control operation of a heating means in an operation panel. SOLUTION: The cooking utensil is provided with a top plate 25 provided on a top face of a body 21 for mounting an object to be heated, the heating means positioned in a bottom face side of the top plate 25 in the body 21, control knobs 43-45 provided on the operation panel 37 in a front face of the body 21 so they can be turned and axially operated, and a rotary encoder 49 corresponding to the control knobs 43-45.
