PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racing net which can maintain the condition that it is set up and carry out tensioning work easily. SOLUTION: A rope 3 which tacks across and supports a racing net 1 between posts 21 is comprised of an inflexible section 9 consisting of a regular rope and a flexible section 10 which consists of a rubber band with elastomeric elasticity. The net is put up with the flexible section tensioned between the posts. The net can be easily put up by connecting joints 12 and 12 at both ends of the rope to the upper end ring of each post. The rope is laced through a through-hole 4 of an upper side 5 of a net body 2. An opening and closing part 13 is formed in the flexible section. Since pulling force is always added to the rope, the net is maintained in a stretched state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
