<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomedical electrode having a structure where an electrode in contact with a living body is easily replaced and biological information is detected without the electrode in contact with the living body in emergency. <P>SOLUTION: The biomedical electrode consists of: a metal electrode part which is connected with an outside device body equipment via a conductor in the biomedical electrode used in contact with the living body and which consists of a nearly flat electrode body part, a recessed part formed nearly in a center of the electrode body part and a projecting electrode part formed in a prescribed range at the periphery of the recessed part; and a living body contact electrode part 4 which is attachable and detachable to/from the recessed part. The living body contact electrode part consists of: a core part consisting of nonwoven fabric and impregnated with a flexible polyurethane resin containing conducting material powder; a conductive sheet arranged on a side face on a side contacting with the living body and an adhering part to the recessed part arranged on a side face opposing the conductive sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
