PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for printing data to be printed on a network utilizing virtual machine applet and its device.

SOLUTION: This method comprises: a step (the 10-th step) for converting the data to be printed which are accessed through the network or setting instruction data of printer environment setting into printing object XML (extensible mark-up language) data or setting instruction XML data respectively consisting of an extensible mark-up language and for transmitting the converted printing object XML data or the setting instruction XML data to a printer; and a step (the 12-th step) for interpreting the printing object XML data or the setting instruction XML data transmitted to the printer, and printing or printer-setting them.
