PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate phase deviations and make responsiveness quick in a control system. SOLUTION: The control method is provided with a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) 25 which has a generator 20 carrying out power generation using a rotor being rotated by a mainspring used as a drive source and has a brake circuit 23 controlling rotation periods of the generator 20, and a rotation control means 50 controlling the rotation periods of the generator 20 by controlling the brake circuit 23. The rotation control means 50 includes a phase comparator circuit 54 which compares a phase of a time reference signal fs with that of a square-wave pulse signal fr being output from the VCO 25, and a brake control circuit 56 which makes the VCO input a signal controlling the brake circuit 23 based on the output from the phase comparator circuit 54. A PLL control can be realized by employing the VCO 25 and the phase comparator circuit 54, and thereby making the responsiveness quick in the system. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
