CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR GAS METER, AND ADAPTER FOR CONNECTION USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy and sure connection using an adaptor to enhance workability even when a female screw part of a cap nut is not conformed with a male screw part of a connection port of a gas meter in screw types, and to allow connection in which an attaching height of the gas meter is prevented from being changed.

SOLUTION: The cylindrical adaptor 11 divided into a plurality of portions along a circumferential direction is interposed between the cap nut 7 and the connection port 4. A small-diametric part 12 in one end side of the cylindrical adaptor 11 is inserted into a cap nut 7 to screw the female screw part 8 in an inner circumference of the cap nut 7 into a male screw part 14 in an outer circumference of the small-diametric part 12. The connection port 4 is inserted into a large-diametric part 13 in the other end side of the cylindrical adaptor 11 to screw the male screw part 5 of the connection port 4 into a female screw part 15 in an inner circumference of the large-diametric part 13.
