PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump capable of installing an unsterilized driving motor unit adjacent to a patient without impairing the cleanliness of an operative field. SOLUTION: This centrifugal pump comprises a centrifugal pump body 1 having a constitution wherein an impeller is rotatably supported inside of a housing 2, and having a magnetic connecting part for transmitting the rotation to the impeller, and a cover 8 joined to an outer peripheral part of the housing. The centrifugal pump body is configurated to allow the driving motor unit 6 to be magnetically connected to the magnetic connecting part from the external of the housing. The cover is joined to the outer peripheral part of the housing at a position where an area including an inlet port 3 and an outlet port 4 formed on the housing, and an area including a part corresponding to the magnetic connecting part are separated from each other.
