PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical touch panel device capable of making the resolution of a detectable touch position finer.

SOLUTION: At a part 2a along the left side of an almost rectangular printed circuit board 2 disposed on the back surface side of a display device 1, a plurality of light emitting devices 3 are mounted in the state of being shifted in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the left side and overlapped along the extending direction of the side. The arrangement pitch dimension h1 of the light emitting elements 3 is smaller than the width dimension h2 of the light emitting device 3.
