SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a semiconductor light emitting element which guarantees a technically simple mass production with extremely sufficiently reproducible element characteristics by irradiating with a homogeneously mixed light.

SOLUTION: A semiconductor substrate has a semiconductor multilayer structure, which irradiates with an electromagnetic beam of a first wavelength region including a beam having an ultraviolet spectral region during an operation of the semiconductor light emitting element. A luminescence conversion element converts at least a part of the beam originating from the ultraviolet spectral region into a visible light.
