DEVICE FOR PROTECTING TAP HOLE PROTECTION WALL OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: A device is provided to protect the tap hole protection wall of blast furnace from hot metal of high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a panel(10) which is closely adhered to the tap hole protection wall of the blast furnace, and in which a plurality of partitions are installed in a zigzag shape so that a circulation way is formed; a panel fixing means comprising a plurality of projection members(20) projected forward on a front end of housing(104) for surrounding the protection wall(105) of tap hole(103), clamping members(21) which are installed at an outer side of the panel, and on which hole(22) is formed so that the projection members are inserted into the hole, and a clamping pin(24) for fixing the clamping members with being inserted into a clamping hole(23) formed on the projection members; and a cooling means comprising cooling water inlet pipe(13) and cooling water outlet pipe(14) installed at one side of the panel to cool the panel by circulating cooling water through the circulation way.
