PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display device with a narrowed peripheral region, in particular, the liquid crystal display device in which disconnection or short_-_circuit of connection lines arranged on the peripheral region is suppressed. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display device has a pixel region with a pixel electrode and the peripheral region surrounding the pixel region. On the pixel region, gate lines and drain lines are wired and on the peripheral region, a gate driver and a drain driver are arranged. A plurality of gate connecting lines connecting the gate driver and a plurality of the gate lines is stacked together on the peripheral region.
