FIELD: sugar plant equipment. SUBSTANCE: dosing apparatus has two chambers separated by partition wall and communicating with one another. One chamber is equipped with branch pipe for supplying milk of lime and other chamber is divided into sections adapted for distributing milk of lime at syrup cleaning stage and equipped with discharge branch pipes. Branch pipes with valves positioned in said sections are connected to partition wall between chambers and adapted for controlled supplying of milk of lime from one chamber into another chamber. Dosing apparatus is equipped with collector for activating reactant for milk of lime. Said collector is provided with branch pipe for feeding milk of lime to section where blade-type mixer is located. Dosing apparatus of such construction allows quality of milk of lime to be controlled. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of milk of lime. 3 dwg
