PURPOSE: A device for heating food is provided to keep cooked food at uniform temperature without using heating water and prevent problems accompanied by using the heating water. CONSTITUTION: A device for heating food forms opening holes(30) to a settling stand(3) to pass hot air produced from a heating unit. A vessel(1) containing cooked food is put on the settling stand and the heating unit is disposed to the lower part of the settling stand. A metal plate(7) is installed at a distance on a plane parallel to the bottom part of the vessel so that the hot air produced from the heating unit directly reaches the bottom part of the metal plate through the opening holes.
