PURPOSE: A method for selling lottery tickets using a credit card and an exclusive device and a system for implementing the same are provided to enable a lottery ticket purchaser to purchase a lottery ticket using a credit card and purchase a wanted lottery ticket number. CONSTITUTION: A lottery ticket processing server(100) stores various information executed by a lottery ticket purchaser such as lottery ticket information, member information, issuing information, and prize winning money information in a lottery ticket database. A web server is connected to a network(110), executes a communication through an HTTP(Hyper Text Transfer Protocol), and supplies a web page necessary for lottery ticket purchasers on the Internet. A card checking unit(120) processes payment information of a credit card and transmits the payment information to a VAN(Value Added Network) company server(130) through a VAN network(160). The card checking unit(120) processes and transmits lottery ticket information being inputted by a user. An exclusive device(121) is connected to the card checking unit(120) and transmits information inputted by a user to the card checking unit(120). The VAN company server(130) is connected to the card checking unit(120) and a credit card company server(140) and transmits credit card information, payment information, and lottery ticket information to a related server. The credit card company server(140) receives/processes payment information by a credit card from the VAN company server(130), or receives prizewinner information from a consignment businessman server(150) and supplies prize winning money to a credit card connection account.
